Evaluating Our news day project

In the school report project, I helped with both directing and my special feature on mental illness in teenagers. Even though i didn't finish the project, I will be finishing it hopefully soon and putting it on youtube. I helped people, like Callum, with their project by going through and checking their report before they recorded it.

My favourite part of the project had to be choosing the images to go with my report, because it was fun to see all the different art and ideas that people suffering from mental illnesses had created to spread awareness.

My least favourite part of the project had to be choosing what to do my report on, because i couldn't think of anything interesting to me that might be interesting to someone watching the news.

The skills I think I have learned in this time are how to edit videos more and also how to organise an interview and write a report on the news.

I've learned that not everything that someone will work on will make it into the news, but maybe used later on on a slow news day.

If i was to do it again differently, I would probably try and improvise an interview earlier on to stop problems happening later on down the line.
